Hospital based in London is looking for doctors (Consultants) specialized in Occupational Health. The Hospital will arrange Skype interviews.
HOSPITAL INFORMATION:
- The Hospital is located in the east side of London, more specifically in the Barking area.
- It is a Trust that has two hospitals and other centers.
- Both hospitals focus their practice on internal medicine, more specifically acute.
CANDIDATE DUTIES:
- Provide proactive support to Managers and HR on the case management of both long and short term sickness.
- To assist in the reduction of the Trust sickness absence rates.
- To hold minimum of 7.5 clinical consultation clinics for BHRUT staff and external clients.
- With the Head of Service, lead and expand on all commercial, clinical and administrative decisions with in the department.
- To manage and develop existing and new members of staff.
- To hold regular case conference meetings with managers of both BHRUT and external clients.
- Liaise with specialists and other consultants regarding care pathways.
- To provide off site service to other NHS Trusts.
- To attend Statutory Safety Committee and Infection Control committee to provide a strong link and advocate the Occupational health and Wellbeing Service.
IT OFFERS:
- Permanent contract.
- Salary between £75,249 – £101,451 + £2,162 annual for London zone.
- Full time position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Full Registration with the General Medical Council.
- Membership of faculty of Occupational Medicine.
- Management experience in allied health field.
- Five years experience of health care, clinical management and service development.
