Job offer for Doctors specialized in Urology

Hospital based in London is looking for doctors specialized in Urology: skype interviews will be arranged.  

HOSPITAL INFORMATION:

• The Hospital is located in the east side of London, more specifically in the Barking area.
• It is a Trust that has two hospitals and other centers.
• Both hospitals focus their practice on internal medicine, more specifically acute.

DUTIES:

• Have a continuing responsibility for the clinical care of patients in his/her charge and for the proper functioning of the Department.
• Deliver a high quality responsive Urology service to the patients who use it.
• Be responsible for providing appropriate inpatient cover to patients in King George Hospital & Queens Hospital Romford.
• Undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the running of a clinical department.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current Urology procedures.

PARTICIPATION IN: 

• The development of clinical audit
• Planning and delivering the provision of the service. This will include planning how work will be organized.
• Appointment of junior medical staff and such other staff as appropriate for the department.
• Selection of equipment for the department, ensuring appropriate standards for its monitoring and maintenance.
• Training of paramedical staff, nursing staff and junior medical staff.
• Taking part in a 1 in 9 Urology full shift rota.

IT OFFERS:

• Permanent contract.
• Salary between £ 35,000 – £ 65,000  + £2,162 annual for London zone.
• Full time position.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MBBS / MBChB / MD or equivalent.
• GMC registration (or eligible to secure GMC registration).
• Efficiency in teamwork and equally good communication skills.
• 3 years of post graduate experience.
