Hospital in Northern Ireland needs Old Age Psychiatrists (OAP). Skype interviews.
CANDIDATE DUTIES:
- The management of organic and functional disorders in Older People.
- To undertake both emergency and routine community assessments, including Mental Health Act assessments.
- Provision of comprehensive psychiatric care through evaluation, diagnosis and use of appropriate treatment plans/strategies.
- Liaising with other doctors, wards, and outside agencies, as may be appropriate, especially with regard to continuity of patient care.
- To clerk new admissions and complete a thorough history and examination, including physical examination and risk assessment to be documented in patient’s notes.

REQUIREMENTS:
- MBBS / MBChB / MD or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years full time post graduate experience.
- Minimum 18 months of continuous experience in Psychiatry experience.
- GMC registration (or eligible to secure GMC registration).
