CANDIDATE DUTIES:

• Provision of a comprehensive Dermatology service, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis & treatment of illness.
• Provision of the proper functioning of the department.
• Responsibility for the continuing care & treatment of patients in your charge & personal performance of clinical duties as agreed in your job plan, allowing for all proper delegation to & training of your staff.
• Responsibility for implementing the Infection Control Policies as determined by Trust.
• Responsible for compliance with personal continuing medical education requirements with the support of the Trust.
• Teaching, supervision and development of Junior doctors in the Department, medical students and non-medical staff as appropriate.
• Contribute to audits and ongoing research activity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MBBS / MBChB / MD or equivalent.
• Speciality training completed.
• Minimum 7 years full time post graduate experience.
• Minimum 2 years of continuous experience in Dermatology.
• Consultant level experience.
• GMC registration.
• Efficiency in teamwork and superior communication skills.
• Leadership and Management Skills.
